Summer Isles

Again within a short drive lie the stunning and magnificent Summer Isles. The drive there is through spectacular and memorable scenery, but for those who prefer to be taken, a boat trip from The Jetty and Ulllapool will take you on a magical sailing trip, spotting whales, porpoises and dolphins on the way. For hillwalkers, wildlife enthusiasts, birdwatchers and the fishing fraternity, Wester Ross offers an abundance of opportunity to indulge in their particular pastimes. The area is home to birds, wildlife and rare species such as Scotland’s golden eagles, pine martens, sea eagles and wildcats.

Ullapool Golf

Ullapool Golf Club was opened in April 1998 by H.R.H Prince Andrew. Whilst the course has been designed and developed to the highest standards, we have maintained a balance with the surrounding landscape and visitors can enjoy their game whilst appreciating the beauty of the Highlands of Scotland.

Shearwater Cruises

Formerly ‘Summer Queen Cruises’. Operating from Ullapool Harbour in the north west Highlands of Scotland, Shearwater cruises offer trips to Loch Broom and the Summer Isles. Our cruises are approximately 2 hours 15 minutes taking in the region’s wildlife and scenery.
